My kitchen counters are a medium sage green. The cabinets are maple, as is my kitchen table. The walls are painted a harvest gold and I have black appliances. The rug under the kitchen table has reds, golds and greens, and I’ve added a few more red accents with kitchen towels.
I want to order chair covers for my kitchen table, but I’m torn between “playing it safe” with a soft sage green or going bold with red. I would love to get both so I can change them out, but I just can’t afford it right now.
We also have 2 cats, so my husband and I both think the red would show less dirt. But they are machine washable, so we got the green, we could easily toss them in the washer if they get stained or dirty.

Nudangler: below is a link to the picture of the rug that is under my kitchen table it has (shocklingly) greens, golds and reds. Perhaps it’s the black appliances that threw you…but can you imagine stark white with such a muted color palated? Probably not, since you obviously have no sense of vision (I thought gay guys were supposed to be GOOD with color and decorating!)

As you have the most garish Colour mix one could imagine I should think nothing else will make a difference. What about sky blue pink with purple dots.
