Can you mix dark & lighter timber in dining suite?

I have a lighter timber dining table that I’d like to keep but add new dining chairs. The chairs are chocolate leather high back chairs with dark legs. Does this look work? I think it would be ok and would tie in with the rest of the room without being matchy. Would appreciate the thoughts of any design guru’s. Thanks : )
